After going to the movie theater to see "The Hateful Eight" and "The Revenant", I've been really inspired by westerns and great landscape photography, both of which each movie possesses. Due to my obsessive personality, my new found love for western themed movies didn't stop there. As soon as I had the time, I watched any western available on Netflix, which included "Once Upon a Time in the West" and listened to anything Ennio Morricone was involved with. I also ended up buying the soundtrack to "My Name is Nobody" and "The Hateful Eight", both done by Mr Morricone. If that wasn't enough, I also took a ton of pictures of our backyard on my phone. Why? Because all of a sudden, I decided I love nature and wintry landscapes.
With all that said, I decided to do a painting to get all this "western" out of my system. Below is the outcome of said obsession.
Previous to all this cowboy non-sense, a good friend of mine asked if I would do a painting for her new apartment. Thankfully for her, my fixation on westerns had not begun yet, so I had nothing to distract me from creating something great for her. I titled the painting, "Nx Worries in Malibu", inspired by the recent jams provided by Anderson .Paak.
That's all for now.
